2012.
So we’re already 6 weeks into a new year. That’s actually insane. I hate that time is going by quicker and quicker. I’m still deciding whether that is a symptom of getting old or whether I’m just cramming more into my life nowadays.

I turned 23 on this day, and it wasn’t particularly an age I was greeting with open arms. What the hell is supposed to happen when you’re 23? But, I guess if it’s anything like being 22, 21, 20, 19 or 18 I’m in for a pretty good ride.
Birthday celebrations actually started on Tuesday, which was essentially my last day at work as obviously, I’ve booked holiday off...

I went out last night into town with a couple of friends from work. Me, Ange, Luke, Craig and Tony had a few cheeky drinkies at Angie’s before we took up residency in The Crew for the night. Being in bed on a Friday night?
A small sacrifice I have to make every other Friday night, due to 6am start at work on the Saturday morning.

Last night, in a round-a-about sort of way. I was well ready for bed at 11, so I decided to go out in Coventry and get in at 3.30am instead.

Some stuff I've been up to lately.
I’ve been busy making more plans, ensuring my 2011 is going to be super duper fun. I’m going to Paris in March with Rachel, so excited to be going somewhere new. By then, I’ll have worked 3 months solid with no paid time off so it’ll be a much welcome break by then.

I hate yet love the idea of a blank canvas ahead. Literally, so much happens in a year, so much comes and goes, so many highs and lows. I think my main intention for this year is to carry on earning money, and enjoying my current lack of commitment and my current degree of freedom. 2010 was a good year for that.
