Some stuff I’ve been up to lately.
I’ve been busy making more plans, ensuring my 2011 is going to be super duper fun. I’m going to Paris in March with Rachel, so excited to be going somewhere new. By then, I’ll have worked 3 months solid with no paid time off so it’ll be a much welcome break by then.
Today I booked my obligatory open air gig for the year also - Arcade Fire and Mumford and Sons in Hyde Park in June. It’s like 3 days after I come back from Glasto too, so it’s going to be an ultimate music overdose. It’s thanks to my beautiful new working hours that I am able to attend such an event and not have to book any time off!
Despite being a bit skint, I had a super fun weekend last week. On Friday I went to Kate and Dikkie’s party, it was lovely, made even lovelier by the fact they got engaged a few days prior :-) On Saturday the main lady Lou Draper was back in town so we went out and got a bit drunk. It was such a good night with her, Flay and the others. We went to William White’s which was a first for me at night time, I really enjoyed it! After that I met Dru and I was walked home, always good to sober yourself up! I feel I should also point up I had the ultimate delicacy when I got home - a Wotsit sandwich. Food of champions.
Sunday night I went to watch Black Swan, and despite my Inception loyalties, I kinda want this to get the Oscar. It was fantastic.
I have spend the rest of this week getting to grips with my job, and snotting over everything and everyone in sight :-) Sniff sniff!
I’m going to London on my own on Saturday, I actually can’t wait. Do what I want, put my headphones in and GO.
So aside from the snot flow, I’m pretty alright.
