...and so it begins.

Lucy. Female. 23. Friends, film, music, experience, conversation, clothes. The rest is history. This is my blog. I use it more so as a diary, a place to record, document, share, moan and marvel but most importantly, it allows me to say what I want. And if you're interested in what I have to say, then that's fabulous :-)

I have so much stuff to catch up on here.

I’ll start with ‘current events’.

I went out last night into town with a couple of friends from work. Me, Ange, Luke, Craig and Tony had a few cheeky drinkies at Angie’s before we took up residency in The Crew for the night. I departed from them for half an hour and visited my dear friend Mike in The Felix, which was ace as he’s NEVER out in Nuneaton any more. A shot later, I headed back to The Crew, where Dru had then joined us. I don’t remember much if I’m honest, except I danced a lot, heard some absolute classic tunes and drank a lot. My head this morning was actually unbearable. Never felt that bad before without being sick, anyway. So I’ve spent today in bed, drinking fizzy pop and eating salty snacks. I’m starting to feel normal again. I’ve spent most of my day with Dave, not a person but the TV channel. Top Gear and Dragon’s Den! I’ve also put my new found mathematical cash management and accountancy skills to good use and budgeted my wages for this month. Because, even though everyone reading this will already know…

I BOUGHT A CAR!

I get it tomorrow and I cannot WAIT. White Citroen C1, an ‘11 reg beauty. I went and paid it a visit on Friday and signed my life away, it’s really lovely. It was a bit dirty from it’s journey into the country, and it was covered in plastic. Everything that could be protected by a bit of plastic or a sticker was covered. I opened the door for a nose inside and the new car smell just SLAPPED me in the face. Best toy ever. I’ve bought some bits and pieces to kit it out with when I get my mitts on it. Pink fluffy steering wheel cover, hanging dice, a ‘powered by fairy dust’ sticker’, the usual. AS IF. I’m keeping well away from any crap like that, the only thing I may get is a Lady GaGa tax disc holder. Or a A Clockwork Orange one. Either way, it’s a massive deal for me, it sorta feels like a sign of progression. Even though I’m hardly in a dream job, I do enjoy it, and getting my own car, a new one at that, just sort of makes me feel like I’m achieving at least something. So yes, I’ll have it in 24 hours’ time, I’m clearly just going on a nice long cruise tomorrow night!

I went to Paris also, I did write a lovely long blog on it but it got deleted for some annoying reason, I may get round to doing it again.
