Some other stuff.
As usual, I’m keeping pretty busy, and my life as per usual is revolving heavily around my friends. I’ve had several very good nights out over the past few weeks, due to every friend under the sun seemingly having a birthday or some sort of life altering occurrence. There’s been a couple of trips over to Hinckley with Elliot, Luke and Sam, and of course some very wine filled nights with Lou, Danielle and Bryony. A club has opened in town called Fever, and it’s honestly the worst place ever. I sat in there on Saturday night, in the more sobering part of my evening, just looking around me thinking ‘Good GOD’. Even the Spice Girls didn’t cheer me up.
Last night I went over to Coventry to see my friend’s band Boat To Row perform at their single launch party. It was a really great evening, there’s some fantastic music to be heard out there. I ordered a copy of their single on 7” which I am VERY excited about receiving!
I also did Stars in their Eyes again this year as Amy Winehouse, it was fun if not slightly tiring this year now I’m working all week. I LOVED dressing up as her and the concept of it wasn’t as daunting as it was other years. A lot of my friends came to see it and it was really nice, especially as they all seemed to enjoy it.
Some things I am now looking forward to include Derren Brown in 2 weeks’ time (FRONT ROW! FRONT ROW!), Rush in 3 weeks’ time (OH EM GEE), Zarina’s party (get drunk, obv), Glastonbury and plethora of other lovely lovely things!
